In the All-Army Sports Program, Soldiers from Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard compete in a variety of sports at the highest levels to include Armed Forces, USA Nationals and Military World Games. They support Soldier readiness and well-being through athletic performance, military bearing and competitive spirit. Participants in the All Army Sports Program are called Soldier-Athletes because they must be Soldiers first and outstanding athletes second. Soldier-Athletes represent the Army in Armed Forces Sports Championships and national and international competitions. The Army Sports Program is a short-term opportunity that may last between four days and up to three months, depending on your sport and whether you’re selected for higher competition.

In a sweeping victory, Army captured their sixth straight Armed Forces Rugby 7’s Championship with a 12-7 win over the Air Force at Infinity Park in Glendale Colorado on August 25, 2018. Army outscored their opponents 159-21 in five games, shutting out the Marines, Coast Guard and Air Force during pool play.

US Navy

All Navy Rugby represents the United States Navy in the Armed Forces Championships and provides the opportunity for Navy servicemembers to compete in high level competitions.  Now in its fourth decade of existence, All Navy Men’s Rugby draws from athletes stationed throughout the United States and around the world.
Athletes are invited through a rigorous application process, and will participate in a high performance camp to select a team who will compete for the coveted Armed Forces Championship and in the Rugbytown 7s tournament.  All Navy Men’s Rugby is the 2017 Rugbytown Shield Champions.

US Air Force

The United States Air Force Men’s Rugby 7s team is comprised of top athletes from active duty, guard, and reserve forces from around the world pursuing excellence and integrity to become leaders, innovators, and warriors.  With the 7s team established in 2012, the USAF Men’s Rugby team has finished second every year in the Armed Forces Championship.  Their launchpad and team aim to propel them to new heights.  They take the pitch with only 7 but in their jersey lies the support of Air Force ruggers and warriors from around the world who have given the ultimate sacrifice.  The sky has never been the limit for the USAF and their players strive to be the best on and off the field as players, Airmen, and citizens.  Their kits represent AF pride and history while their logo represents Sevens and the concept of flight. In addition to the Men’s 7s team, the Air Force rugby family includes a men’s and a women’s 15s team, the first women’s rugby team in the U.S. Armed Forces.

US Marines

The US Marines rugby team is a diverse group of Marines from across the Globe who come together for just 2 weeks a year to do battle on the pitch and represent the Corps, then go back to our normal duty of providing for our Nation’s freedom.

Coast Guard

Coast Guard Rugby was founded in 1983. The team is comprised of active duty Coast Guard members that come from all over the world. The team has seen success in winning the Combined Services championships throughout the 80’s and 90’s. The team finished as silver medalists in the Armed Forces Championships in 2010-11. Many of the personnel on the Coast Guard teams give back to the game as coaches and administrators in the game. On and off the field, the members of the Coast Guard Rugby program strive to represent the service in a positive light. They take pride in playing for the service at Rugbytown 7s and love interacting with the fans and other teams during the week! This year there was another milestone for Coast Guard Rugby and the Armed Forces as a women’s Armed Forces Rugby Tournament was held and competed in by all five Military branches.
